The BEST Tacos Ever n PHENOMENAL Service

Today was the first day my mom and I tried Obies. It was delicious. The food was perfect and the service was super friendly. We even knew some of the people there and didnt expect that. It definitely made it feel like a neighborhood friendly environment. We cant wait to come here again!

Very Rarely do I rate poorly. This is a bar at best. There is nothing Mexican about this food. Ordered a burrito and recieved a very bland taco salad. Thank goodness the salsa came in large bottles. Very disappointed.

We have eaten here many times over the years but last night was very disappointing. The staff was overwhelmed with orders. Mine took 1.5 hours and was cold as was 6 of the 8 of us. The staff did apologize and we hope this was an isolated occurrence. It would have been better to tell us the situation up front so we could choose to go elsewhere and come back another time.

The homemade french fries and Mexican style tacos are terrific.

Everytime I make it back up to Iowa I make a special trip to Obies! The Enchiladas are amazing!

Enchaladas and tacos are great

This was a good stop for dinner. Tacos are crazy big and delicious. Never had a taco like it before. Fried pickles and dip were super good too. Good drinks and good service to top it off. Just know that it is cash only.

I wouldn't really call it Mexican, but it is a home town favorite. The tacos are more like gorditas, deep fried shells and all.

Bun and tenderloin were overcooked to super crunchy. Not happy.
